I don't know about the piece that has been quoted, or about the controversy or even much about NYT except for the fact that it's very famous. Still, this was such a delight to read. The analysis reminds me of analysing literature in A levels. The most wonderful part, however, is that you made me think about my own susceptibility to propoganda.
